Community Assisted Living for High Risk Seniors and/or Adults with Physical Disabilities Within London, Middlesex, Perth, Elgin and Oxford Counties

Cheshire offers assisted living supports to High Risk Seniors and/or Adults with Physical Disabilities.

  • This service is offered in an individual’s home in their community, Cheshire congregate living setting or a Cheshire owned property.
  • There are no service maximum hours for Community Assisted Living, depending on organizational capacity.
  • Supports are provides 24/7, 365 days per year. This includes scheduled and unscheduled needs.

Consumer Benefits

  • Freedom and independence to live independently
  • Requires daily scheduled attendant care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living such as toileting, dressing, bathing, feeding, assistance with transfers, turns and medication reminders. With the option of supplemental services that include; escort to medical appointments, passive range of motion and general fitness exercises, homemaking (meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry)
